New Home

So this house hunt has been a journey full of surprises and pitfalls along the way. Started off and looked at 16 house in the first weekend of my search in early June. By mid June I place and offer on a cute 2 - story house that was just a "Gem" in realtor terms. Well long story short that fell through due to some problems in the counter offer after the home inspection. The home inspection identified some items that would be costly. (replace the sprinkler system 3K, and general maint of maintaing the outside boards on the house and painting $1,500.) So we filed a mutual release to get out of the deal due to major issues with the home. Then to beat all the homeowner refused to work with me and wont give my $1,000 earnest money back. :-( BOOOOOOOOOO

Better news however did come of this mess. I went out looking once again for a new home. Just as I was starting to think I wouldn't find something else mom and I stumbled across this home builder. The houses were beautiful this builder had to offer. I fell in love with the 2nd house and they told me the price and I was very excited. I called the relator and we came out the next day and made an offer on this house. The best part was the agent who showed me the home showed it at the wrong list price and I got 15K off the price of the house. GO ME GO ME!! I close on my new home on July 30th.
